Circus ZappZarap offers all children’s and youth facilities, especially those with educationally disadvantaged children and young people, an extensive range of activities for an active vacation program.
Mutual respect and support are at the forefront of children and youth work, but the circus arts also offer a unique challenge for each individual. Bringing together different age groups or even different generations with different social backgrounds brings about a lasting improvement in daily interaction, eases social conflicts and lays the foundations for respectful coexistence. Elements of circus arts are rehearsed and staged in numerous workshops during the vacation project.
Every circus project ends with a spectacular final show. Accompanied by lighting effects and music, the participants are thrilling in their role as artists. Parents, relatives, friends, neighbors and circus lovers are overwhelmed by what has been practiced in such a short time. The enthusiasm of the audience greatly strengthens the self-confidence of the participants and contributes significantly to a new approach to leisure activities.
